Online Ministry to Children Lesson 10

Dear First Presbyterian Church family,

Great Commission Publications, the Sunday school curriculum that we use here at First Pres, is providing free video lessons along with a pdf for the parent and for the children. The lesson taught is from the Preschool curriculum, but the hope is that the families can gather around and use this  lesson for multiple ages. Please see the below Lesson which includes the various links. At the bottom of the information is the link to previous Lessons. Lesson 10: Jesus Raises the Widow’s Son

In this week’s Bible story, Jesus brings the widow’s son back to life. Help your children to see how sad the widow must have been before Jesus raised her son from the dead and how Jesus had compassion on her. Thank you again for the privilege of being in your homes!

This Quarter:

Families are following the life of Jesus to see that he is truly God, exploring stories that encourage the whole family during this time:

  • Jesus Raises the Widow’s Son
  • Jesus cures 10 lepers…
  • Jesus calming the storm (good reminder of his power over creation)
  • Healing the man at the pool, a blind man, a crippled man (don’t we all need to know Jesus our Healer?)
  • Jesus bringing Lazarus back to life (Jesus’ care and mercy for his own)
  • And the gospel story—Jesus’ resurrection from the dead
